Abstract

The background of this research is that in a learning process it is necessary to have a strategy used by educators in conveying material so that students are able to understand the content of the material properly. The purpose of this study was to determine educator strategies in overcoming students' learning difficulties in Islamic religious subjects at SMA Avisena Kec. Jabon Kab. Sidoarjo. This type of research is qualitative research using a case study approach.  uses a student-centered approach, but educators must also play an active role in the learning process. The strategy used in the subject of Islamic Religious Education at Avisena High School is using the Problem Based Learning strategy. Factors causing learning difficulties
