Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of work engagement as an intervening variable on the effect of person organization fit and person job fit on turnover intention at PT. XYZ Sidoarjo. Research using quantitative methods descriptive research type. Sampling in this study using saturated sample method with the number of samples in this study as many as 82 respondents. The results of this study indicate that person organization fit has no effect on turnover intention, person job fit has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. Work engagement has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. While together person organization fit, person job fit, work engagement have a significant effect on turnover intention. And indirectly person organization fit has a significant effect on turnover intention through work engagement. Person job fit indirectly and significantly affects turnover intention through work engagement.
