Abstract

This study explains about improving the ability to read Hijaiyah letters through the Bagdadi method at KB ALQUDS Candi. The Baghdadi method is one of the methods of learning the Qur'an. This method is applied byspelling each letter, therefore this method is called the "spelling" method.The research method applied is research Classroom action with research subjects totaling 10 children. This study uses the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model with stages of planning, implementation, observation, reflection. in Pre-Cycle by 58% increased in cycle I by 71%, in cycle II increased by 84%. The success indicator of this study is 75%. From the conclusions that have been examined, it can be concluded that the ability to read hijaiyah letters through the Bagdadi method in children aged 4-5 years is carried out according to stages.The Pre-Cycle, Cycle I, and Cycle II stages with the implementation carried out in accordance with improved very well.
