Problem of Financial Management of Rural Community-Based School

This research aims to determine the financial problems of private schools based in rural communities. The method used by researchers is qualitative descriptive analysis research. The subjects in this research were the School Treasurer, parents and teachers. This research is a phenomenological analysis by collecting facts about phenomena found in the field. This research resulted in findings of financial problems at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Babat, including the minimal fees received from parents due to the culture of the village community. SiThe financing stem applied is mutual trust between parents and the school, while the school feels confident that the parents can maintain their commitment to pay school fees, but the school must maintain the financial stability of the school so that it can carry out learning and school activities.
