Abstract

PT Landkrone Indo Nutri is a company engaged in the production of oils and fats, the final product of which is margarine. The current layout of production and warehousing facilities at PT Landkrone Indo Nutri is inefficient, it can be seen that production efficiency has decreased from 94% to 88% every year. Production inefficiencies are thought to be due to production layouts that do not take into account the degree of closeness. By integrating the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) and Blocplan methods. SLP calculates department proximity factors in detail, while for Blocplan the method provides the most efficient proposed layout. The results of this research were obtained from the results of the SLP method calculations that the total reduction in movement distance was greater, namely 52.5 m, with an increase in efficiency of 59.8%. This value is expected to help improve the production process flow in the initial layout.
