Abstract

Utilization of information and communication are the two main factors needed in managing community data, the linkage of these two factors creates an updated and real-time information system for community data. The application of computer networks is an alternative and solution to obtain integrated information and to communicate information systems between nodes. This research leads to optimizing computer networks through VLAN and OVPN can maximize and simplify monitoring of network traffic based on connections installed at each client location. A network with a good and stable connection accelerates the transmission of information system communication data aimed at efficiency and effectiveness of data processing. The results of testing the separation of internet access points, where Internet A is used as a VPN network to connect incoming and outgoing connections. Internet B is used internally as the source of the Internet connection , which has been shown to reduce data traffic.
