Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop and evaluate how effective the learning media "Pop-Up Book Geometry" (PUBG) is in class V at SDN Pucang 4 Sidoarjo in mathematics subjects, especially geometric material. The research method used is R&D with the ADDIE model. The research stages involved analysis of basic problems in mathematics, design and development of PUBG media, implementation trials on 5th grade students, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the media. The implementation trial showed an increase, with an N-Gain of 0.93, which the media helps them understand the geometry of spatial figures. The practicality evaluation also showed positive responses, with satisfaction levels of 89.65% and 84.05%. This research shows that PUBG "Pop-Up Book Geometry" as a learning tool can be used as an effective and efficient alternative to improve the learning outcomes of class V students and improve their mathematics learning at SDN Pucang 4 Sidoarjo.
