Abstract

The development of automotive technology, especially motorbikes, is increasing rapidly and. Public vehicles such as motorbikes now use a variety of fuels such as BX 92 and BX Ultimaxx fuel, vehicles that use internal combustion engines such as motorbikes have performance, namely power and torque to get maximum performance from the vehicle, one of the factors is fuel use. This research aims to determine the difference in motorbike performance when using BX 92, BX ultimatx, a mixture of BX 92 and BX Ultimaxx and a mixture of BX 92 and Ethanol with tests carried out including power, torque and specific fuel consumption tests. Testing of all variations of fuel was tested on the R 15 motorbike using testing equipment, namely the dynotest. The results of this research include power, torque and specific fuel consumption. The result of this research is that the higher the octane level, the better the results.
