Prediction of Klobot Cigarette Production Using Mamdani's Fuzzy Logic Method

Abstract

This research explores the application of the Mamdani method in fuzzy logic for decision making regarding production quantities at the CV Oeloeng Cigarette Factory, Bojonegoro. Involving planning, these factories rely on fuzzy logic to calculate production in a period, dealing with roasting of previous inventory balances and uncertain sales estimates. By identifying variables through the stages of fuzzyfication, application of simplification, rules, and defuzzyfication, this method is implemented by referring to sales and inventory data from August 2022 to July 2023. The results project a production of klobot cigarettes of 4870 handlebars, with sales of 4120 handlebars and warehouse inventory 2800 handlebars, with an accuracy rate of 73.17%. These results can be considered sufficient to support decision making regarding production.
