Maharah al-Kalam is a crucial skill in learning the Arabic , requiring students to actively express themselves in Arabic. However, class X students at Azhari Integrated Islamic Senior High School Darul Fikri Sidoarjo still use the qowaid wa al-tarjamah method, which focuses primarily on reading and translating. As a result, the Maharah al-Kalam aspect tends to be neglected. The research, employing qualitative methods with interview, observation, and documentation techniques, involves Arabic language teachers and several class X students. The study aims to understand the implementation of Contextual Teaching Learning and the supporting and inhibiting factors in Maharah al-Kalam learning. The findings indicate that the implementation of Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) is appropriate for Maharah al-Kalam learning for class X students at Azhari Integrated Islamic Senior High School Darul Fikri Sidoarjo. Supporting factors include student-centered learning and supportive facilities, while inhibiting factors consist of uneven Arabic.
