Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) is a concept designed to enable electronic devices to communicate autonomously, and to receive and transmit data via network connections. Blynk makes it easy for NodeMCU and DHT22 microcontrollers to receive and send temperature values ​​to application users. Apart from Blynk, another monitoring system uses a WhatsApp bot which sends server room temperature notifications. IoT with this concept has obtained research test results, namely that the system makes it easier for administrators to monitor and control temperature using the Blynk and WhatsApp applications, because these applications have the advantage in terms of user interface that is easier to understand. The conclusion of this research makes it easier for users or server room owners to manage the facilities in the server room so that they last longer and users or administrators can monitor the temperature of the server room without having to be in the server room.
