Abstract

The low learning achievement of class XI tkj students at SMK is due to the problem, namely the lack of student learning motivation. This study aims to determine the effect of the CBL learning model on learning achievement, to increase students' understanding of the subject matter explained by the teacher, to provide new experiences to students in using the CBL learning model, and to motivate student learning so that student achievement results increase. The instrument used in data analysis is in the form of multiple choice questions. The analysis test in this study was to use a paired sample t test using SPSS. The results showed that CBL on the learning achievement of high school students had a significant effect with the sum of the pretest average scores getting results of 66.67 and the average posttest getting results of 80.00 with a significance value obtained of 0.022 < 0.05.
