Abstract

A solar cell is a device that can convert solar energy into electrical energy. This energy can be used as a power source for clothes dryers that dry clothes under the sun. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of his PLTS and heating of the Kupang dryer. The method used is to measure the amount of electricity, temperature and humidity. Then, an analysis is performed based on the obtained results. The measurement process involves two operations. The analysis results show that PLTS and heating capacity are still less effective. This is because, based on the analysis of the measurements in the two treatments, there is an imbalance in the temperature and humidity measurements at location 3. In treatment 1, the temperature measurements reached 46.98℃ and humidity 26.34%. Temperature measurements during treatment 2 resulted in 34.30 °C and humidity 67.64%.
