Currently, people can easily communicate over long distances using the WhatsApp application. Over time, WhatsApp has continued to evolve to the point where it can send messages automatically, known as a chatbot. A WhatsApp chatbot is a computer program designed to interact with users through the WhatsApp messaging application. This chatbot utilizes artificial intelligence and natural language processing to answer questions, provide information, or perform specific tasks according to user instructions. This article will discuss the basic concept of WhatsApp chatbots, the technology used, their benefits, and some challenges that may arise in their development and implementation. Additionally, this research will address recent developments in the world of WhatsApp chatbots, including integration with third-party services and the chatbot's ability to recognize and adapt to the varying communication styles of WhatsApp users.
