Abstract

This research uses an alternative fuel to replace gasoline, namely methanol. Also to utilize alternative energy to replace petroleum fuel which is increasingly depleting. As well as the influence on the efficiency of using the required fuel. cut the cylinder block 2mm with the aim of making the piston over lap so that the excess overlap can be used to change the shape of the piston from a flat to a dum shape, apart from narrowing the combustion chamber to increase the compression ratio but also changing the geometry of the piston which is adjusted to the movement of the valve on combustion chamber so that it does not collide with the piston when the piston is at tma
