Tolerant Communication from Mosque Keeper in Jenggot Village (Perspective on Intercultural Communication)

Jenggot Village is a village in the Krembung sub-district of Sidoarjo Regency. The village itself is populated by people of various races, ethnicities and beliefs. The Muslim population constitutes a significant majority. The success of tolerance communication in bearded village cannot be separated from the role of residents who have an attitude of tolerance and mutual respect for every opinion, right and belief embraced by each individual. This research aims to find out how tolerance communication between the Al-Furqaan mosque management and the residents of Jenggot village. The author employs descriptive qualitative research methodologies, including observation and documentation, to investigate the formation of communication. The results of this study indicate that communication between the mosque management can be established, because the mosque management wants to contribute to every event held by residents and village administrators and contribute to some of the needs of the event as a form of tolerance.
