The role of the village government in waste management is a form of government performance in waste management in Sruni village. The aim of this research is to describe and analyze the role of the village government in waste management in Sruni Village, identifying factors that influence the role of the village government in waste management. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques carried out by means of observation, documentation, interviews with informants, and using sources from books or journals. The results of this research show that there are 4 indicators of the role of the Village Government in Waste Management in Sruni Village, Gedangan District, namely; a) as a stabilizer, b) Innovator, c) Modernizer, d) Pioneer. The government's role in waste management in Sruni village has been good because the government's efforts to sort waste independently have been carried out by the Sruni village community.
