Abstract

CV Neo Bersaudara is one of the businesses that design bucket enema products. There are bucket enema products produced in this business unit. The implications of this research are expected to provide information on how to create enema bucket products with additional filters that are easy and safe for consumers to use. The DFMA method recommends determining product designs that can eliminate components or replace unnecessary ones and have no added value in producing products based on the functions consumers want. The result of the coffee ENEMA bucket design using the DFMA method is to obtain more efficient design results. This design has efficiency from the level of use because the filter can be removed which makes the bucket design can be used many times. New design using the DFMA method results in a bucket assembly time efficiency of 36%. Meanwhile, the bucket assembly cost efficiency is 13%.
