Netnographic Analysis of the Use of Telegram as a Virtual Space of Sexuality

This article traces the formation of groups to the motivation of individuals with common goals and interests in using Telegram as a communication space for virtual sexual activity. The qualitative method with the netnography approach as a data collection technique is carried out with online interviews, so it can analyze and observe patterns of communication as well as virtual sexual activity in Telegram. The research is aimed at identifying the existence of sexual culture populations in the cyber world by revealing the activities identified as sexual virtual practices, from the distribution of pornography to the practice of prostitution, which is considered to be one of the secure media using features available in the app used.
