Abstract

Stress is a phenomenon that is often experienced by many people in modern. environmental demands, work demands, addiction to online games cannot be separated from the factors that cause stress for most people. Arknights is one of the online games that has a contingency contract event. Players compete to complete events that have difficulty levels based on the player's own choice. Making this game can be one of the factors that cause stress. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, taking 2 arknights players at the contingency contract event with data collection in the form of interviews and observations. The results of this study indicate that 2 subjects is undergoing by stress, this is shown by their cognitive, physiological, emotional, and behavioral reactions when experiencing difficulty completing a challenge in the game with a level of difficulty that they have chosen themselves.
