Job Satisfaction of Integrated Islamic School Principals

Tahfidzul Qur'an An-Najah Foundation, a growing organization, was facing financial and manpower limitations. This condition caused the two principals under the auspices of the foundation to feel unsatisfied with some aspects of their work. This study aims to determine the description and factors affecting job satisfaction of Integrated Islamic School Principals under the auspices of the Tahfidzul Qur'an An-Najah Foundation. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with subjects of two principals, namely the Principals of Ainul Yaqin Integrated Islamic Kindergarten and Elementary School. Data was conducted through semi-structured interviews. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman models. The results of this study indicate that principals are satisfied with eight aspects of the job, but less satistied with four aspects of the job. Factors that influence principals job satisfaction are values, personality, needs, job characteristics, work experience, and reference group.
