Abstract

This study is motivated by the phenomenon of school well being problems in the practicum room facilities which cause students to be inhibited and lack enthusiasm during the learning process, the noise made by students causes the learning process to be less conducive, and students' difficulties in understanding learning material which causes students to have a habit of cheating. This study aims to determine the relationship between internal locus of control and academic self-efficacy with school well being in students. The research sample amounted to 155 students from a population of 259 students at Madrasah Aliyah Islamiyah Sidoarjo using the Isaac and Michael table count with an error rate of 5%. The sampling technique used is quota sampling. The results of the bivariate correlation state that there is a positive relationship between internal locus of control and academic self-efficacy on school well being.
