The Role of Self Efficacy and Self-Concept in Students' Career Maturity

This research aims to determine how much is the role of self-concept and self-efficacy in career maturity among students. The sample on this study is 343 students from the 2019 cohort of Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. The measurement tools used in this study consisted is Tennesse Self Concept Scale (TSCS), adapted and modified by Shovia Lintina, with a Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of 0.931, General Self-Efficacy Scale adapted by Riangga Novrianto, Career Maturity scale developed by Putri Nuraini with validity testing already conducted. The data analysis employed the multiple regression with the assistance of JASP 0.16 and SPSS 22.0 software. Based on the results of it can be observed that the R indicates a value of 0.337, and the R square shows a value of 0.113. This indicates that self-efficacy and self-concept together can influence career maturity by 11.3%. In this study, self-concept is the most influential variable on career maturity.
