Abstract

Students complain of having difficulty concentrating, difficulty sleeping, fatigue and weakness. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between religiosity and self-efficacy with academic stress in students of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo University. Quantitative method was used by involving a sample of 340 active students of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo University. Data analysis in this study is correlation test and multiple linear regression test using the help of SPSS version 25 for windows application. The results of the study based on the correlation test show that there is a negative relationship between religiosity and academic stress, and there is a negative relationship between self-efficacy and academic stress. Meanwhile, based on multiple linear regression test shows that there is a significant relationship between religiosity and self-efficacy with academic stress in students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo.
