Abstract

The use of billboards as a medium for promoting events, advertisements, and political campaigns outdoors continues to influence the behavior and attitudes of the public up to the present time. However, the irregular installation of billboards can have negative impacts on the environment and public spaces, including reducing greenery and creating poor visual aesthetics. Therefore, this research aims to design a Markerless Augmented Reality Billboard Installation Application that utilizes Augmented Reality technology to project 3D billboard objects in real-time into the real environment. The creation process employs Blender, Vuforia SDK, Unity, and Android. The outcome of this research is the development of an effective application that assists users in placing billboards at desired locations while adhering to applicable regulations, enhancing user experience through features such as object rotation and capturing photos with the objects. Based on the testing results, the application was successfully created with a feasibility percentage of 86.2%.
