Description of Happiness in Students Using Social Media

This study aims to provide an overview of the happiness level of students at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo who use social media. The research method employed is quantitative descriptive with a population size of 10,225. The sample size was determined using the Krejcie Morgan table, resulting in 408 samples. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling, and the measurement instrument adopted from previous research with a reliability value of Cronbach's alpha of 0.854. The study's findings indicate that students with a very high happiness level account for 10.50%, followed by those with a high happiness level at 10.30%. Students in the medium happiness category constitute 52.20%. Those in the low happiness category make up 21.80%, and students in the very low happiness category account for 5.20%.
