Abstract

This study aimed to describe students’ the effect of the Project Based Learning model on creative thinking skills. This research was a quantitative research. Type of quasy experiment Control Group Noneequivallent Desigh. The number of sample in this study were 50 class IX students for the academic yeasr 2022/2023 taken from total population of 108 students in Cendikia Middle School. The sampling technique using purposive sampling. The research instrument used is a creative thinking test sheet using indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration. Data analysis using Paired Simple t-test using SPSS. The result showed that average value of the post-test creative thinking ability in the experimental class is higher than the control class. In addition, the results of the t-test using SPSS obtained a significance value of <0.05, with this the project based learning model has a significant effect on students' creative thinking abilities.
