Low iron storage can cause anemia According to data from the East Java Provincial Health Office, in 2020 there will be 42% of young women in East Java suffering from anemia, including Sidoarjo Regency which ranks first with a prevalence of 32.9%. The aim of the study was to see the effect of giving moringa leaf tea on increasing hemoglobin levels in female adolescents. Pre-Experimental research method with Pretest-Posttest One Group Design. The population in this study were all young women at the Posyandu for Youth in Putat Tanggulangin Sidoarjo Village and a sample of 19 young women who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The research data were analyzed using univariate data analysis which was tested by paired t test with a significance level of p.value <0.05. The results showed that there was a significant difference in hemoglobin levels before and after administration of moringa leaf tea (p<0.05).
