Implementation of the Family Hope Program in Ganggang Panjang Village, Tanggulangin District, Sidoarjo Regency

Abstract

The Family Hope Program (PKH) is directed at helping the very poor in meeting their educational and health needs, in addition to giving families the ability to increase consumption expenditure. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the implementation as well as the inhibiting and supporting factors of the Family Hope Program in Ganggang Panjang Village, Tanggulangin District, Sidoarjo Regency. The data collected in this study is qualitative data, while the technique of determining the informants in this study uses a purposive sampling technique. The analysis technique is in accordance with that proposed by Miles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study were that PKH administrators in Ganggang Panjang village were not involved in the process of selecting and determining PKH beneficiary participants, because the PKH participant selection system was only carried out by the central government.
