A Development of Motion Graphic Animation Videos to Improve Students' Motivation and Understanding in Scientific Think in Class 5 Science Learning

Abstract

One of the efforts that can be made in the era of society 5.0 in the field of education is to create learning media that are attractive, easy to access and use by everyone. One of them is through the CapCut application which can be accessed on cellphones. This study aims to produce a Motion Graphic animation video media design to increase students' motivation and understanding in thinking scientifically in Natural Science subjects with Water Cycle material in grade 5 elementary schools. This research uses the Research and Development (RnD) development method with analysis Dick and Carey (DnC) as a learning model design that was developed and produced a product in the form of Interactive Video. Research data was collected using observation, instruments, documentation, pre-test and post-test.
