In this study the method used was a quantitative method with a population of 195 students at the An-Nur Tanggulangin Islamic boarding school and 195 students as a sample of this study. Sampling using saturated sampling technique in which all members of the population are sampled. The variables in this study are social support. Data analysis in this study used Spearman's rho product moment correlation statistical test and multiple regression with the help of SPSS 26.0 for Windows. The results of this study indicate that there is no relationship between social support and academic stress (r = -0.087, p = 0.227 > 0.05) but there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and academic stress (r = -0.257, p = 0.000 <0.05). It can also be seen that social support and self-efficacy together have a significant effect on academic stress (F = 6.788, p = 0.001 <0.05).
