This study aims to improve critical thinking skills in children aged 4-5 years. This research was conducted on April 3 2023 to May 11 2020, this research was conducted at the Dharma Wanita Jumputrjo Kindergarten involving 17 children, 9 girls and 8 boys in class A2 using the classroom research method (PTK). Data collection techniques used in this study are observation sheets and interviews. The results showed that there was a significant influence on the application of the STEAM approach to improve critical thinking skills in children aged 4-5 years at Dharma Wanita Jumputrejo Kindergarten. The results of the data on children's critical thinking skills at the pre-cycle stage were 48.16%, the first cycle was 60.66%, and the second cycle was 77.57%.
