The Role of Self-efficacy and Parental Attachment to Learning Motivation of Vocational High School Students

This study aims to determine the role of self-efficacy and parental attachment to students' learning motivation at SMK. The variables in this study are self-efficacy and parental attachment as variables (X) and learning motivation as variables (Y). The design of this study used a correlational quantitative approach with a sample 302 students using stratified random sampling technique. This research instrument uses an adaptation scale. The learning motivation scale was adapted from the MSLQ with a reliability of 0.936. The self-efficacy scale is adapted from the self-efficacy Questionnaire in Youth with a reliability of 0.926. The attachment scale was adapted from IPPA with a reliability of 0.899. The results of data analysis using multiple linear. Partial analysis shows that self-efficacy has a role in learning motivation with a sig. of 0.000 (sig. <0.05) and parents have a significant role in learning motivation with sig. 0.024 (sig. <0.05)
