The Relationship between Sosial Support and Flow Academic in SMA Yadika Bangil Students

Abstract

Researchers found that there were students who claimed to be less focused on following learning. Teacher Yadika Bangil said only 50% of students can follow the learning process with focus. This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and academic flow in students at Yadika Bangil High School. This research method uses quantitative correlation methods. This study used a saturated sampling technique, so that the sample of the entire population was 193 students. The data collection technique used by researchers uses 2 psychological scales, namely the social support scale and the academic flow scale. Data analysis technique using Product Moment correlation method SPSS 20.0 for windows. The results of data analysis obtained a correlation coefficient rxy = 0.324 with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05. The results of this study prove that social support has a positive relationship with students' academic flow.
