Abstract

PT. Varia Usaha Beton produces various kinds of concrete products, construction services, and equipment rental services. The problem that occurs is the decline in the target by 8% in 2022. This was caused by uncontrolled inventory control, so one of the raw materials that experienced an overstock of 15.150 tons was sand in plant BSP Sayung, Central Java. To overcome the supply problem, an alternative or solution is needed, namely using a markov chain with perfect enumeration to determine the amount of sand raw material at a minimum cost and a strategy to minimize the occurrence of excess sand raw material. The research results obtained that policy 58 resulted in an expectation of a minimum monthly excess fee of Rp. 32,463,360 compared to other policies. As a result, the minimum long-term policy is to make improvements if the system is in state 3,4,5, or 6.
