In the digital age, colleges strived to utilize digital media for a competitive edge. However, existing digital media efforts primarily focused on student activities and academics, neglecting crucial aspects like campus layout. New students often have difficulty accessing the information they need to understand the campus layout. To address this gap, immersive digital media, specifically Extended Reality (XR) offered a solution that creating an interactive and captivating environment. This research aimed to introduce new students to the campus environment through Extended Reality (XR), aiding their memory of building layouts. The study employed the ADDIE method as the research approach, resulting in an XR-based Campus Exploration application integrated into the Oculus Meta Quest 2 device. The questionnaire test revealed that the application was perceived as "helpful" by students, with a response rate of 77.8%. with strengths in visually conveying essential information and allowing users to experience campus exploration through XR.
