One of the efforts of the village head as head of government at the village level is to empower individuals in the village he leads. The community, especially women in Semambung Village, Kec. Wonoayu Kab. Sidoarjo is a part of society that needs to be empowered. This study aims to describe and analyze the role of the Village Head of Women in Empowerment. This research is a type of qualitative research that provides an overview of the role of female village heads in empowering women. Types of data taken from various sources, namely from primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and data verification proposed by Miles and Huberman.
