This study aims to examine the effect of gender, control of life, and social presence on the perception bias of holier than thou. This study uses a quantitative type with a questionnaire as a data collection method that uses certain criteria in sampling. The sample of this research was 40 respondents from Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo University accounting students. Then testing the data in the form of validity test, reliability test, multiple regression analysis and partial test. The results of this study indicate that gender has no effect on the holier than thou perception bias. Meanwhile, control of life and presence have an effect on the perception bias of holier than thou in accounting students.
