The problem of mental illness is a disorder that is usually suffered by someone without easily knowing the characteristics and symptoms because in general they tend to be ignored. Some people who suffer from mental illness are sometimes reluctant to have the disease checked by a psychiatric expert such as a psychologist or psychiatrist. Through these limitations, the expert system is expected to be able to solve a problem so that people can consult independently. The primary objective of developing this expert system is to facilitate online consultations, eliminating the need for individuals to physically visit the practice site. This system has been tested by related parties to ensure its accuracy, and produce information quickly and efficiently. The result of testing the validity of using the forward chaining method have an accuracy of 100 % from 12 data testing.
