The purpose of education in elementary school is to have Indonesian language lessons. The students' ability to compose a simple essay is low, and the students' lack of knowledge about writing simple essays. The type of method in this study was a quantitative experimental research form, with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Using 30 students as a sample. The average score of the students' pretest was 51.00 while the average score of the students' posttest was 76.17. That way it can be seen the difference in the comparison of the average value between the pretest and posttest, namely with a value of 25.17. On results of the Paired Samples T Test which shows that seen from sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 so according to the explanation above which means that the p value (0.000 <0.05). So should be recognizable that if the p regard <0.05, H0 is dismissed and Ha is acknowledged.
