Abstract

A flat plate solar collector is used to absorb radiant heat energy from a 150 Watt light beam and then forward it to the collector pipe which is fed by water. Variation of the angle of 0⁰ heat received by collector water is 66.4℃ with a pressure difference of -2. Testing using a variation of the lamp flame for 90 minutes obtained data of 44.8 ℃ with a pressure difference of -1. For 4 lamps, a temperature of 60.8℃ is obtained with a pressure difference of -1.5
