This study aims to determine the effect of the guided inquiry learning model on scientific literacy skills in the reasoning indicators of students in science subjects in class V SD Muhammadiyah 5 Porong. This study used a one group pretest posttest pre-experimental design. In this study, the entire population or saturated sampling was used, namely the entire class V, which consisted of 22 students. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it shows that the inquiry learning model has an effect on scientific literacy skills in the reasoning indicators of students. From the results of calculations that have been carried out using the hypothesis test, it is stated that the value of t count > t table (0.6595 > 0.0444). So it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning model has an effect on scientific literacy abilities in the reasoning indicators students in elementary schools.
