The National Movement for the Promotion of Breastfeeding, which has full support from the central government, has a design called the Exclusive Breastfeeding Program. Law Number 36 of 2009 Concerning Health reinforces the Indonesian Government's commitment to improving maternal and child health, as well as nutritional status. According to WHO standards, the Sidoarjo City Health Office has suggested 6 months of exclusive breastfeeding as a program to improve the nutrition of newborns or toddlers. Research Objectives 1) Assess and describe the implementation of the Exclusive Breastfeeding Policy in Bligo Village, Candi Sidoarjo District. 2) Assess and describe the factors that encourage and inhibit the practice of exclusive breastfeeding in Bligo Village, Candi District, Sidoarjo Regency. The research methodology is a qualitative descriptive approach using data collection procedures such as observation, interviews, and document analysis. Purposive sampling was used to identify research informants (selection of informants deliberately).
