Abstract

In Jakarta, there are many captivating tourist attractions. Tools for promoting tourism-related information on social networks, however, are less appealing and less effective at luring visitors. As a result, we require new technology that is superior as a draw for tourists. This study intends to make Jakarta's tourist sites more alluring and participatory by using augmented reality technology as a marketing tool. Visitors can view virtual attractions in the form of 3D depictions using AR technology. Using AR technology can boost interest in visiting Jakarta's tourist spots. A marker-based tracking approach is used in this study's utilization of augmented reality technology. For this program to function effectively, black box testing was performed for this study. The findings of this study are presented in the form of an application for locating Jakarta's tourism hotspots, which is anticipated to be able to market Jakarta's tourist attractions to users in an enticing manner.
