Teacher and Student Interpersonal Communication in Learning Drum Musical Instruments Using the Ear Monitor Method for Erudite Music Course Pandaan Students

This study aims to evaluate the communication interpersonal between teachers and students in learning drum instruments by ear monitor method for students at Erudite Music Course Pandaan. The method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. The research participants consisted of one teachers and three students who took drum lessons at Erudite Music Course Pandaan. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results showed that effective communication interpersonal between teachers and students are very important in improving the quality of learning. Interact with each other in a cooperative way, support each other, and give each other feedback to achieve learning goals. Ear monitor method helps to improve learning skills and make the learning more effective. This research provides important insights for practitioners and decision makers in music education. It is expected to contribute to the development of more effective and efficient musical instrument learning methods.
