This research focuses on how followers of Instagram @disperpusip_sidoarjo perceive the Instagram account as a library promotion media. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach using in-depth interview and observation techniques. Informants or subjects in the study were followers of the @disperpusip_sidoarjo Instagram itself who were active in visiting and viewing content shared by the Instagram account. The results of the research obtained are the positive perceptions and influences of the followers concerned, although there are still some things that still have to be improved to be even better in the future. But the purpose of the promotion carried out by Instagram @disperpusip_sidoarjo has been achieved. That is, there is a positive response from the results of interviews by 5 informants that have been conducted, From this description it can be concluded that the promotion carried out by the @disperpusip_sidoarjo Instagram account has been classified as successful.
