Analisis Perilaku Manusia Pada Musik Video “Monster” Karya Seulgi dan Irene (Studi Semiotika Roland Barthes)

Music video is a form of visualizing the meaning of a song that is expected to be able to convey emotions and messages, even today music video is used as a promotional medium for singers. Signs of non-verbal messages in music video can be in the form of song lyrics, dance, make-up or stylist, scenes shown and storylines. The purpose of this analysis is to provide meaning to the signs in Monster music video by Seulgi and Irine using Roland Barthes’ semiotic analysis method. This study draws the conclusion that semiotic analysis of “Monster” music video is able to prove the existence of human behavior such as the good and bad of humans through the visualization signs in music video. Changes in human behavior can be caused by external conditions such as feeling offended. Uncontrolled emotions cannot solve existing problems.
