In everyday life we always communicate with various kinds of cultural. This also happened in Maiyah at the Padhang Mbulan event. This study aims to determine the existence of cross-cultural communication in Maiyah Padhang Mbulan recitation. This study uses the theory of Communication Resourcefulness Theory (CRT). research used in this study using qualitative methods. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and interviews. The purpose of communication is to reduce uncertainty between strangers when meeting and having conversations. This study concludes that cross-cultural communication occurs in the padhang mbulan recitation forum which is held every full moon night. This interaction also gave birth to a new cultural communication which is believed to be the culture of the maiyah congregation, such as asking whether you have eaten or not, discussing the material presented by Cak Nun and how to talk to the maiyah congregation.
