The purpose of this study was to determine the government's role in waste management at the Jabon TPA, Jabon District, Jabupaten, Sidoarjo. This research is a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out using interview techniques, observation and documentation. Determination of information using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis techniques are carried out by collecting data, data reduction, data analysis and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that the government's role in waste management at the Jabon TPA is carried out well and smoothly, marked by the fulfillment of the government's role in each of its indicators
