The role of social agents is very important in the process of forming thematic villages such as Kampung Lali Gadget. KLG is a place for educational tourism. Located in Pagarngumbuk Village, Bendet Hamlet, Wonoayu District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java Province. The aim of the research is to explore village branding strategies so that they can become a reference for other communities in developing village potential for educational tourism. This study used a qualitative method with data collection techniques, namely conducting in-depth interviews with the initiators and developers of KLG. Apart from in-depth interviews, research data was also obtained from documentation of activities carried out by KLG. It was concluded that in Sidoarjo there is an educational tourism village, namely KLG with the concept of community-based educational tourism developed by Achmad Irfandi as a social agent in his role. As a skilled agent to turn village potential into educational tourism
